ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and organised Production & Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a 6-month contract role based 5 days per week in our Hawthorn East head office. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of both offshore and local production cycles, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery milestones are met.

Reporting to the Production Planner & Critical Path Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Production Coordination: Implement and maintain all production schedules and act as the primary day-to-day contact for suppliers and manufacturers to achieve quality, timeline and cost targets.
  • Critical Path & WIP: Maintain 100% accuracy in WIP reports and production schedules to inform the wider business.
  • Logistics & Freight: Proactively coordinate with freight forwarders and the warehouse to manage the arrival and documentation of bulk production.
  • Supply Chain Admin: Coordinate embroidery and printing services, order trims, and oversee faulty product procedures.
  • Systems Superuser: Act as the AP21 superuser, ensuring all data (costs, receipts, dates) is accurate and supporting internal teams with system knowledge.
  • Collaboration & Support: Liaise directly with Design, Studio, and Warehouse teams to ensure seamless communication across the production process.

Desired Skills and Experience

YOU WILL BRING:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of production experience, with a focus on offshore manufacturing and local Australian vendors.
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, duties, and coordinating with freight forwarders for timely delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage complex production schedules and WIP reports for high-volume collections.
  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills, with proficiency in AP21 (or similar ERP/EMS systems).
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
